These resources support employment specialists in Indiana providing quality, effective employment services to people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The Deaf Community does not see being deaf as having a disability.

Being deaf is part of who a person is, and they are part of a celebrated community and culture.

The Deaf Community prefers using the terminology “Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HoH) individuals” to “individuals who are D/HoH”. You will find this terminology throughout this page.
