The Discovery Profile and Monthly Progress Summary (MPS) forms have been updated to reflect suggestions made by Discovery Cohort B, which included both Employment Services staff and Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) staff. These changes include incorporating information from the MPS into the Discovery Profile, which will now be submitted monthly to VR.  As such, the MPS will no longer need to be submitted to VR during the provision of Discovery Services.  The MPS will be utilized once Discovery Services are complete, throughout the remainder of the provision of Employment Services for the participant.  Further enhancements were made to the documents to streamline information, improve efficiency, as well as enhance communication between Employment Services and VR staff. The documents were also amended to include more participant-focused language.

Indiana VR Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CNSA) Focus Group

Indiana Bureau of Rehabilitation Services (BRS) is seeking your input. To learn more about the participants you serve, their needs, and your needs as a vocational rehabilitation (VR) professional, IN BRS has partnered with Public Consulting Group-Indiana (PCG) to conduct a statewide needs assessment. PCG will be hosting focus groups with service providers to hear directly from you about the needs of the individuals you work with, and the needs of Indiana’s VR system.

If you are interested in participating, please register for one of the focus group sessions by clicking on one of the links below. Focus groups have limited space, and attendance will be on a first come, first served basis. Depending upon demand, we may schedule additional sessions. These focus groups will not be your last opportunity to participate in this needs assessment.

• Session 1: December 1st – 3:00 to 4:00 PM

• Session 2: December 8th – 2:00 to 3:00 PM

All focus groups will be held online, via Zoom video conferencing software. Each will last forty-five minutes to an hour. We will provide ASL interpretation and transcription services as needed. We will record all sessions for note-taking purposes, but discussions will be confidential, and names will not be attached to any of the data we collect.
