Level up Indiana Supervisor Circle

Matt and I recently spoke on the phone and chatted about his experience coaching with Level Up Indiana. Something I found particularly interesting was his success in working with employment specialists who worked with a visually impaired client for the first time.

The work of a VR employment specialist requires that you help whoever comes through your door, and that you help them carve out a space in the world in which they feel autonomous and empowered. This requires a certain amount of understanding from you—the employment specialist. This can be difficult when working with a client who has experiences you’ve never encountered before. This is where a great coach can change everything. When you meet with a coach, you aren't just drawing on their experience, but the experiences of their past clients.
