How to Apply to Be a Mentor

Anyone interested in becoming a Mentor should complete the interest form using the button at the top of the page. Level Up IN staff will review your application and reach out to you within 2-3 business days to continue the process.

You can find a full description of the process and requirements in our Peer Mentor Network Application Instructions.

To be eligible, potential mentors must have the following experience:

  • Certified Employment Support Professional™ (CESP) with 3 years of experience in employment services

    OR

  • At least five years of experience in employment services

    OR

  • At least five years of experience in the subject matter they will coach on (if that subject is not employment services)

    AND

  • At least one year of experience providing mentoring, coaching, or guidance

Mentors must also provide the following with their application:

  • Proof of experience, including three examples in areas they wish to coach

  • Letter of support from employer

  • Two professional references
