Build the Skills You Need

Designed for first- or second-year employment specialists, Foundations Training includes three training opportunities: VR 101, ACRE training, and Peer Mentoring. Students receive their ACRE certification after completing the 12-week course.

What To Expect in ACRE Training

Level Up Indiana partners with Virginia Commonwealth University’s Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (VCU RRTC) to offer Foundations. The course helps first- or second-year specialists get their Association of Community Rehabilitation Education (ACRE) certification.

Participants complete 6 lessons across a 12-week period. Each lesson is open for two weeks, so students can complete the course at their own pace.

  • Job-Site Training
